1. ” Where are you located?” & “What are your hours of operation?”

We fly out of Dare County Regional Airport in Manteo, NC, 407 Airport Rd., which is located just past the Roanoke Island Aquarium on Roanoke Island. We are on the left side of the parking lot in a big tan hangar. Look for the RED waco.
Our hours of operation are Monday – Sunday 8am – 5pm. Tours can be arranged outside of regular operating hours by appointment only.

2. “What do I need to wear?”

3. “Is there an age limit?”

There is no age limit, however children under 2 years old can sit on an adults lap allowing for 4 passengers on the cessna or 3 in the biplane, small children should be accompanied by an adult.

4. “Is there a weight limit?”

Yes, there is a weight limit in both airplanes.
In the cessna the weight limit is 3 average sized adults & in the biplane the weight limit is 2 average sized adults. Please call ahead to discuss your specific situation. 252-473-4247

5. “What if I’m prone to motion sickness?”

Best recommendation is to go in the biplane. It is unlikely that someone will develop motion sickness in the biplane since it is open air.

6. “Which plane is the easiest to get pictures out of?”

The biplane does not have windows that would obstruct the camera’s view however you will most likely have parts of our beautiful biplane in your pictures.
Yet in the cessna it is easy to get pictures that will not have anything obstructing your view.
IF YOU ARE FLYING IN THE BIPLANE AND YOU WOULD LIKE TO BRING A CAMERA YOU MUST BRING A STRAP.
